To use WaxVault, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google sign-in. You agree to:

WaxVault provides a platform for cataloguing, managing, and exploring vinyl record collections. Features include:

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store (iOS), Google Play Store (Android), or Stripe (web). By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges at the applicable rate until you cancel.
Core collection management features are available without a subscription. Premium features (AI grading, advanced analytics, and other features as indicated in the app) require an active subscription.
You may cancel your subscription at any time:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.
Refunds for App Store and Play Store purchases are handled by Apple and Google respectively, in accordance with their refund policies. For web subscriptions via Stripe, contact us at support@wax-vault.com within 14 days of purchase for a refund.

The WaxVault app, website, branding, design, and original content are owned by Soda Creative Studios Ltd and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without written permission.
Record information displayed in WaxVault may be sourced from the Discogs database. Discogs data is used under their API terms of service and remains the property of Discogs and its contributors. WaxVault is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discogs.
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to WaxVault, including collection data, notes, and photos. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
If you make your profile public (at wax-vault.com/@username), you grant us permission to display your chosen profile information and collection data to other users and visitors.
WaxVault uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini AI) to assist with vinyl identification and condition grading. AI-generated results are estimates only and are not guaranteed to be accurate.
Grading assessments should be treated as a helpful guide, not a definitive evaluation. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated grades or identifications. For valuable records, we recommend professional grading services.
WaxVault offers optional public profiles at wax-vault.com/@username. Public profiles are disabled by default. If you enable a public profile:
WaxVault includes social features such as friends lists and leaderboards. By using these features, you agree to:
We reserve the right to remove users from social features or disable accounts that violate these guidelines.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. User-generated content (including usernames, display names, bios, profile images, and comments) must not contain objectionable, offensive, hateful, harassing, threatening, or illegal material. We do not tolerate such content or abusive users. You can report objectionable content or abusive users from any profile or comment within the app, and you can block users so they can no longer interact with you. We review all reports and act within 24 hours, removing content and ejecting offending users as appropriate. Objectionable content is also filtered at submission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soda Creative Studios Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We aim to keep WaxVault available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.
WaxVault integrates with third-party services (Discogs, Google, Stripe, Apple, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Soda Creative Studios Ltd regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements.
